8 Packing Tips For Carry On Luggage

Over the past few years, I’ve travelled more than ever before and during that time, I’ve picked up a few tips to make the packing process much simpler. If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen our latest trip to Lake Como in Italy… it was magical! I love to see new places and create memories that last a lifetime.

So today, I’m going to share 8 packing tips for carry-on luggage for minimal fuss and how to optimise your luggage space.

8 Packing Tips For Carry On Luggage

Tip 1: Know your airline’s baggage-fee policy and choose the right size suitcase. I’ve been using an Antler hardcase suitcase for years and it is excellent. Just the right size for a week’s worth of clothes and extremely durable.

Tip 2: Pack a small hairbrush, like the Tangle Teezer compact brush, not your full-size daily brush.

Tip 3: Ditch the hair dryer. Most hotels supply them these days!

Tip 4: Take a rollerball perfume, not the big bottle. You can pick up your favourite perfume in a rollerball at Sephora.

Tip 5: Use soft material travel bags to separate clothes such as lingerie.

Tip 6: Fold or roll clothes to make them fit into carry-on luggage.

Tip 7: Pack clothes that have multiple uses like a dress that can take you from day to night.

Tip 8: Depot cosmetics into small travel size bottles or buy the mini versions.
